Regional Implementers

Regional implementation will occur within urban, regional/rural and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Centres and/or Controlled Organisations that can be easily accessed by families.

Sites implementing First 100 Days Australia will carry out the following roles:

  • Develop and introduce a local community engagement and governance process for the implementation of First 1000 Days Australia strategies at the site
  • Facilitate engagement and collaboration between the participating community organisations and the mainstream agencies and service providers responsible for supporting Indigenous families
  • Identify specific interventions needed to address gaps, and an appropriate method of engagement with families
